Data protection
This website is hosted in Germany and therefore is subject to the European General Data Protection Regulation. It is assured that no data is knowingly or willingly collected or stored that is not technically required for providing the offered services. No data will be passed to any third party. The software in use (namely Joomla CMS and Mantis Bug Tracker) might place Cookies on your local computer and temporarily store your IP address to manage the running session. Also, connection data like your IP address could be written to log files, but the files will neither be analyzed for this kind of information nor stored permanently.
The Mantis Bug Tracker offers an anonymous read access to the issue database without any need for a registration. To report issues to the database it will be necessary to register at the bug tracker. For the registration, a valid email address has to be specified that will be used by the system to send change notifications regarding the state of reported issues. The email addresses stored by the bug tracking system will not be used for any other purpose. When reporting an issue, the uploaded data and attachments will become public to other visitors of the bug tracker. Therefore it should be avoided to upload any private information to the database. Also, contributions should comply with legal requirements and good manners.
The Jabotics software does not collect or transmit any data.
Legal notices
The Java software package org.jabotics has been published under the GNU General Public License, Version 3 of the Free Software Foundation and in that sense is free software. A copy of the license and the complete source code (file lib/jabotics-src.zip) are contained in the Jabotics deliveries. The copyright for Jabotics is held by Frank Gollnik.
Parts of the package org.jabotics make use of the leJOS libraries for programming LEGO Mindstorms NXT and EV3 robots in Java. Jabotics archive files including the leJOS libraries should also contain the legal notices for leJOS. Consult the leJOS homepage for further details.
Jabotics will typically be used in conjunction with the Java development environment BlueJ. Details on the license agreement for BlueJ can be found on the BlueJ homepage.
